Week Ahead Reminders for the week 9th to 15th October 2023.
The following have a due date of 10th October 2023
1. GSTR-7 return for Tax Deducted at Source to be filed by tax deductor
2. GSTR-8 return for E-Commerce operator registered under GST liable to TCS
Due date of filing GSTR-1 return for the month of September 2023 for registered person with aggregate annual turnover exceeding Rs 5 crore during the preceding financial year and for registered person with aggregate annual turnover of less than Rs 5 crore during the preceding financial year who have opted for filing return under QRMP is 11th October 2023.
The following have a due date of 13th October 2023
1. Due date for filing GSTR 6 return of every input service distributor for the month of September 2023
2. GST QRMP IFF monthly return for tax payers with aggregate turnover upto Rs 1.5 crores.
3. Summary of outward supplies by taxpayers who have opted for the QRMP scheme.
The following have a due date of 15th October 2023
1. Quarterly statement of TCS deposited for the quarter ending September 30, 2023.
2. Due date of issuing TDS certificate for tax deducted under section 194-IA, 194IB, 194M and 194S
3. Form 24G by an office of Government where TDS/TCS for the month of September 2023 has been paid without production of challan.
4. Quarterly TCS certificate in respect of tax collected by any person for the quarter ending June 30, 2023.
5. Quarterly TDS certificate in respect of tax collected by any person for the quarter ending June 30, 2023.
6. Upload declarations received from recipients in Form No 15 G and 15 H during the quarter ending September 30, 2023.
7. Furnishing statement in Form no. 3BB by a stock exchange in respect of transactions in which client codes have been modified after registering in the system for the month of September, 2023.
For listed companies there are several other event or task based, annual and quarterly compliances which have specific time periods allotted from the date of the event or completion of task or end of a milestone period before which one needs to submit reports with details of the event or task to the relevant regulatory authorities especially SEBI. These due dates generally fall in the range of simultaneous to 60 days depending on the event.
